DAY 4 GUADALAJARA – VISIT TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF GUACHIMONTONES
Breakfast. Near the town of Teuchitlán, in the Tequila Valley—just one hour from Guadalajara—an important discovery took place in the 1970s. Contrary to the belief that Western Mexico had no ancient ceremonial centers or cities, archaeologists uncovered a civilization more complex than previously assumed in studies of Jalisco.
Circular pyramids, remnants of mining activity, and ballgame courts were revealed. During the tour, you will explore Circle 1 or “Gran Guachi,” Circle 2 or “La Iguana,” the central altar of Azquelite, Circle 4, the ballcourts, and the chinampas. The visit includes entrance to the site’s museum with a video projection about the civilization that once lived there.
Before returning, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants (not included). Return to Guadalajara.

The visit includes a walk through the town’s historic center and a guided tour of one of the most important tequila-producing houses: Casa Cuervo. Guests will explore a replica of an old factory, then observe the current production process in a modern distillery, and enjoy tastings of tequila at different stages. Return to Guadalajara.
DAY 6 GUADALAJARA – CITY TOUR, TLAQUEPAQUE & NIGHT PARTY TOUR

In the evening, get ready for the Night Party Tour in Guadalajara, a perfect way to end a day full of activities in the “Pearl of the West.” For your comfort, the tour operator will pick you up at your hotel and take you to “Nueve Esquinas,” a neighborhood with European-style architecture and unique elegance.
