Reception at the airport by our staff and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. For tonight, we recommend as an optional activity… Dinner at the world’s largest revolving restaurant, Bellini, followed by a Pre-Hispanic Folkloric Show while enjoying a delicious Margarita, and ending the evening with our traditional Mariachi music at the famous Plaza Garibaldi. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 – MEXICO CITY – CITY TOUR & NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY AND HISTORY

Breakfast. Like an enormous living museum, Mexico City, the oldest metropolis in the Americas, is an extraordinary display of more than 650 years of human and cultural development, and without a doubt, one of the most attractive and fascinating cities in the world. We will begin our tour with the famous Centro Histórico: Zócalo, Cathedral, National Palace, and Diego Rivera’s murals (subject to government permission), followed by a panoramic drive along Paseo de la Reforma and Chapultepec, where we will visit the National Museum of Anthropology and History. Here, you will enjoy a brief yet captivating visit featuring the Mexica, Aztec, and Maya halls. You may choose to remain at the museum for a full visit or return to your hotel. We invite you to make the most of your free afternoon; we suggest visiting the navigable canals of Xochimilco in the southern part of this beautiful metropolis among many other possible activities. Overnight stay.

DAY 3 – MEXICO CITY – BASILICA OF GUADALUPE & TEOTIHUACÁN PYRAMIDS

Breakfast. The tour begins with a first stop at Tlatelolco to visit Plaza de las Tres Culturas, one of the most significant sites in Mexico City, reflecting three key stages of Mexico’s history: pre-Hispanic, colonial, and contemporary. We will then continue to the Basilica of Guadalupe, where you will see the original cloak of San Juan Diego bearing the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. From here, we will head to the Archaeological Zone of Teotihuacán, whose name means “the place where men become gods.” We will explore the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Quetzalpapálotl Palace, and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent (Quetzalcóatl), as well as walk along the Avenue of the Dead. Lunch included. In the afternoon, we will stop at a local workshop to learn about the process of making pulque (a pre-Hispanic beverage), weaving, and the craftsmanship of obsidian and silver. Overnight stay. (The order of these activities may vary depending on seasonal weather conditions or capacity restrictions due to health regulations.)
