DAY 1. CITY OF ORIGIN / MEXICO CITY

Reception at the airport by our staff and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the afternoon free. For this evening, we recommend as an optional activity: Dinner at “Bellini,” the world’s largest revolving restaurant, followed by a Pre-Hispanic Folkloric Show while enjoying a delicious Margarita, and ending a great evening listening to mariachi music at the famous Garibaldi Plaza. Accommodation.

DAY 2. MEXICO CITY – BASÍLICA DE GUADALUPE – TEOTIHUACÁN PYRAMIDS

Breakfast. The tour begins with the first stop at Tlatelolco for a panoramic view of the “Plaza of the Three Cultures”, one of the most significant sites in Mexico City, reflecting three important eras of Mexico’s history: pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern.

Continue to the Basilica of Guadalupe, where you will see the original cloak of Juan Diego with the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

From there, proceed to the Teotihuacán Archaeological Zone, whose name means “the place where men become gods.” Explore the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Quetzal-Butterfly Palace, and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent (Quetzalcóatl), as well as walking along the Avenue of the Dead. Lunch included (drinks not included).

In the afternoon, stop at a handicraft workshop to learn about the process of making pulque (a pre-Hispanic beverage), as well as weaving, obsidian, and silverwork. Accommodation.

DAY 3. MEXICO CITY – CUERNAVACA – TAXCO

Breakfast. Departure southbound from Mexico City to the state of Morelos, with the first stop at Cuernavaca, known as the “City of Eternal Spring.” Enjoy a panoramic tour including one of the oldest Cathedrals in the Americas and the Cortés Palace, a 16th-century civil palace where the conqueror lived after residing in Mexico City.

Continue the journey to Taxco, a jewel of the Sierra Madre and the “World Silver Capital.” Here you will visit the famous Baroque parish of Santa Prisca and walk along its beautiful cobblestone streets. Visit one of the best silver workshops in the area. At the scheduled time, free time for lunch (not included). Free afternoon. Accommodation.

DAY 4. TAXCO – ACAPULCO

Breakfast. Departure towards Acapulco. Arrival around midday at this paradisiacal port. Hotel check-in. Free afternoon. Accommodation.

DAYS 5 & 6. ACAPULCO

Breakfast. Free days to enjoy the beaches. Recommended activities include attending the famous La Quebrada cliff divers show or taking a catamaran ride around its beautiful bay (please request quotes). Accommodation.

DAY 7. ACAPULCO / CITY OF ORIGIN

Breakfast. Transfer to the Acapulco bus terminal to take the regular line bus directly to Mexico City International Airport for your return flight home. End of our services.
